SATURDAY, APRIL 22ND
1327 BAYARD STREET
BALTIMORE, MD 21230
And they did it again! Who is they, you ask?
Creatively Mindful. The talented group of creatives behind the #theSaintPabloArtShow and the most recent, #itsTheRocArtShow that took place this past Saturday night.
Similar to the last show, they had 25 local artists and a variety of vendors. Along with complimentary wine and food. What more could you ask for?
This time, they paid homage to Jay-Z, a hip-hop legend and mogul. Each artist did their own take on the rap star while also showcasing their individual work.
We got to sit down with Jordan again, one of the artists behind Creatively Mindful to chat about the outcome of the show and how it compared to the last one.
1. So the show was an absolute success. Did you guys stick to the same guidelines?
Jordan: Why thank you! Yeah, we pretty much stuck with the same formula for this show. There were a couple tweaks that we made in order to make it more of a streamline process, such as using eventbrite to sell tickets online. That tool is a great organizer for presale tickets.
2. The location change was dope. Do you plan on switching it up for the next show?
Jordan: We are always looking for versatility and for a good switch up. So, a different venue may happen for the next show, nothing is set in stone though.
3. When is the next show?
Jordan: We can’t spill all the details now, but look out for something coming in the summer months.
4. What should we expect for the next show?
Jordan: We have to keep you guys on your toes, so all I’m going to say is if you enjoyed this show, you definitely don’t want to miss the next one. Follow us on instagram @creatively.mindful for all the details for the upcoming vibes.
Floral Bomber: Target
Who What Wear Lace Slip Dress: Target
Lace up Open Toe Boots: Forever 21 (old)
Pale Pink Clutch: NY&Co. (gift)
For this event, I kept it sexy and sweet. I took a last minute trip to Target and found this lace slip dress and floral silk bomber. The jacket caught my eye as I was rummaging through the racks. I was on a mission to find something that was within my budget but also something I’d wear more than once. With summer coming up, these were the perfect pieces to add to my wardrobe.
I stumbled across this dress by accident. I was sifting though the sale rack after already trying on a few different things and there it was. I immediately checked the tag and was sold! It was only $14 and it went perfectly with the floral bomber. I’m a fan of mixing prints 🤗
