A Day with Bae | Cylburn Arboretum

SATURDAY, MARCH 25TH

DOWNTOWN BALTIMORE

So we finally crossed something off our to-do list this weekend!

We love trying new things, so we recently made a pact that we would eat at new restaurants and explore some new spots once the weather broke. Today was surprisingly warm, so we decided to go on an adventure.

First stop, Cylburn Arboretum!

If you’ve been to Rawlings Conservatory and Botanical Gardens than you know what we were expecting. But it was actually nothing like that. Everything was outside and there weren’t many plants or flowers to look at. They did have a mansion that was kind of cool but it was closed to the public due to a private event so we weren’t able to go all the way inside.  I think a wedding was actually taking place.

These were literally the only flowers we got to see 😩

Next up, food!

There isn’t much that we don’t like when it comes to food. We found this cute little spot on the @eatmorebaltimore instagram page. If you don’t follow them, you should! They showcase a bunch of low key and popular food spots in the Baltimore area.

8 Ball Meatball specializes in all types of meatballs and serves them 3 different ways. First you choose your meat, then your sauce and lastly, how you’d like like them served. They also have a selection of specialty pizza’s.

Jordan ordered the 8 Ball aka The Meatball pizza and I got the Chicken Pesto and Spicy Pork and Parmesan Cream meatball sliders. Everything was soooo good. We would definitely go back!

Be sure to look out for our next day out. I wonder where we’ll go next…

The Look

Knit Top and Legging Set: Boohoo

Baby Pink Adidas: DSW

Suede Clutch: Mark and Graham (gift)

I call this the “girly sweat suit” lol This look was extremely cool and comfy; perfect for a day outside with a lot of walking and drinking involved. I’ve also been utterly obsessed with pastel colored sneakers lately for the spring, so I knew they’d be perfect with the grey set.

A clutch is definitely my go-to kind of bag so this one paired perfectly. I tend to gravitate towards suede accessories so don’t be surprised if you see me rocking this combo again!

See why we love pastel colored shoes on our recent post,  Top 5 spring Essentials

After lunch, we met up with our friends for drinks! Check out the vlog here
